The acromion process is a bony landmark found at the lateral edge of the spine of the scapula. It is one of the two bony landmarks found on the anterior aspect of the scapula, along with the coracoids process. There are several muscles which attach to the acromion process beside the pectoralis minor such as the coracobrachialis and the bicep brachi.
