Provide an analysis of CASE STUDY 9.2 THE FAMILY CONFLICT
Yolanda contacted a community mediation center in her city to obtain help with a difficult family conflict. During the standard intake interview at the mediation program, Yolanda gave the mediator an overview of the nature of the conflict between herself, her brother Ted, and her sister Kate.
Yolanda said that she and her two siblings are in conflict over the arrangements for the care of their 80-year-old mother, Anna. Until recently, Anna was healthy enough to live on her own in a small condominium that she purchased after her husband died six years ago.
