Suppose that upon Todd's (Meet Your Patient) transfer from the ED, you made the following nursing diagnoses for him. Using problem urgency as your criterion, assign each of these diagnoses in low, medium, or high priority order. You may not have much theoretical knowledge about type 2 DM and chronic renal disease, but use the information provided in the scenario and in the etiologies to prioritize as well as you can. • Anxiety r/t unknown prognosis of renal failure and ED environment
• Deficient Knowledge (renal disease process) r/t new diagnosis of renal involvement r/t type 2 DM
