7 Compare the most recent yearly income statement for Microsoft, Dell, Sony and Qualcomm. Examine the gross margins for each of these companies (cost of goods sold COGS divided by revenue). Do a similar ratio analysis against Sales, General Admin (SG A) and Research Development (R D). What do these ratios when normalized against revenue tell you about the kinds of businesses these companies operate in?
