A Gantt scheduling chart is used to represent the progress of a job by using bar charts which are represented by using graph sheets. Production operations contain several activities which are dependent on each other; Gantt chart reduces the need for scheduling the activities in a most feasible manner.

The Gantt chart will be monitoring the job progress continuously by using graphs which are built by representing the progress of the job on the X axis and the Time on the Y axis.
