It involves the flow pertaining to the service and goods including the finished goods from point of origin to point of actual consumption, work in progress inventory and storage of raw materials. In other words it is the amalgamation of finances, information and materials as they pass from supplier to the producer to the wholesaler and further to the retail stores and finally to the customer.
