The message receiving process involves three different steps such as Listening, Analyzing, and understanding. The three stages are explained below:

1. Listening: Listening is a process of trying to grasp the message and register its contents. It is one of the most important skills. Good listening skills make the communication process much easier.

2. Analyzing: Then the contents are recollected and analyzed. The receiver of the message thinks about, decides and then evaluates the message. It involves thinking and interpreting what the speaker is trying to say. The other thing it involves is, taking sufficient time to evaluate what the sender of the message is trying to say.
