Job centered or employee centered

Under job centered leadership the subordinated are closely supervised by the leader so as to ensure that they are performing their task by adhering to the procedure being advised to them. The behavior of the follower is influenced by the leader with the help legitimate power, punishment and reward. Employee centered leadership on the other hand involves participative approach and interpersonal relationship for influencing the behavior of the followers. This leadership style involves including stakeholders, superior, peers and subordinates in the process of decision making.
