There are two approaches for managing innovative changes. They are defined as given below:

1. Compression approach: The approach concentrates in lowering the costs and trying to improve the quality of the products or services. The approach will not attempt to bring in major modifications in design but try to bring in some modifications by reducing the costs. This type of approach is used when the environment is more certain in the course of incremental change.
