Denial of Service

There are a number of attacks to which the systems are exposed to. One such attack is the denial of service attack.

The Denial of Service attack is defined as an attack in which the system or the network is unavailable for access for authorized users. The attacks prevent authorized users from accessing the network resources or the system. The network services are temporarily unavailable for use, and the system performance degrades.
