E-mail Program

S/MIME is an internet standard for providing the secure attachments of the e-mail. S/MIME has been adopted in various commercial packages of the e-mail such as Eudora and Outlook.

The advantage of an e-mail program that can be automatically applied and thus removes the protection of the e-mail messages between the sender and the receiver is that:

1. Helps in the method of key exchange.

2. The key exchange between the sender and receiver establishes a ring of trust and establishes a degree of trust with in an authentication of the keys for the corresponding recipients.

3. The use of the X.509 validated certificates keeps the data safe and secure.
