Reasons to implement a firewall in VPN

To provide secure remote access to the individual user in a network, the infrastructure used is known as Virtual private access (VPN).

The reasons to implement a firewall in a VPN are given below:

• For the protection of the file system from harmful data.

• For not allowing the new connections in the private network in the SYN packet.

• To make the read and write operations passed through certain security critical.

• To minimize the virus attacks and risks associated with cross uncleanness of the worm of computer.

• To place the critical infrastructure behind the virtually locked doors.

• To place the sensitive data behind the virtually locked doors.

• To make the user authentication for accessing the sensitive data.
