Security Advantage
When DATA is transmitted from one source computer to another destination computer, then it is never advised to send DATA in bulk, as it will use large quantity of bandwidth allocation, but to split it into small packets. These packets contain the message to be sent, the MAC address of the source computer, MAC address of the destination computer, packet number, and total number of packets; as shown in figure below:
