Step 1 of 2
Activity limitation is defined as the people who face difficulty in doing certain activities and work. From 1997, the National Health Interview Survey collected data in which activity limitation is described annually. Children who were limited to do any activity shown several signs of chronic diseases.
When the child is about 1 to 2 years old and his or her activity is limited, then he or she shows speech problems. As the child grows that is about 12 to 17 years old and his or her speech is not limited but other problems may occur. Developmental problems and other mental problems start increasing with the age.
These psychological and age-related problems include learning disabilities, hyperactive disorder, behavioral, mental, and emotional problems occur. In grown up adults, limitation of activity causes problems in walking, running, remembering, care for himself or herself, and many other chronic problems.
