Infantile paralysis was initially considered one of the difficult diseases to understand. Mostly it was observed in young people and often the back, legs and arms were supposed to be infected. Due to this type of paralysis, people became crippled. This particular disease was historically known as infantile paralysis. Crippled paralysis is particularly known to be caused by poliovirus.
