What were the epidemiological limitations of Flexner’s work on polio? List and discuss several of these limitations.

Flexner was the MD (managing director) of Rockefeller Institute of Medical Research in New York. New York City has suffered recently from the polio epidemic and about 750 to 1200 cases were observed in the year 1907. Flexner was appointed a member of the committee, which included other 11 people also by Neurological society of New York in order to study polio epidemic.
