What specific measures would you suggest to decrease the likelihood of contamination of raspberries from the Guatemalan farms?

Attack rate is used as a statistical measure to investigate the disease outbreaks as it describes the new and rapidly occurring cases confined to a place in a population that is well-defined in a limited period of time. The attack rate in this study was 93% corresponding to the people that ate the berry at the respective events they attended.

The source of the infection was thus confirmed to the consumption of raspberries at the various events in New Jersey. However, a large number of raspberry producers were present at the time of this study and the origin could not thus be identified and eliminated.
