Urination is the process of letting out urine from the human body.

• Urine is formed in kidneys. They collect the waste fluids in the body.

• Urine consists of both organic and inorganic compounds.

Organic substance in urine:

The organic substances includes,

• Urea:

• It is an odorless solid, colorless, non-toxic, and very much soluble in water.

• Urea is sent out in urine of mammals as nitrogen-containing substance

• Uric acid:

• Natural breakdown of body cells produces uric acid and also from the food.

• Most uric acid is cleared in urine from the body. A small amount passes out in stool.

• Creatinine:

• Muscle metabolism produces creatinine in urine as waste product.

• Creatinine is filtered in kidney removed through urine.

• Enzymes

• Hormones

• Pigments
