The percentage of items in stock improved. • Cost: In the given example, the company had to face shortage of employees to run its stores. Shortage of employees led to difficulty for the customers as there was less help available to them with longer checkout lines. Employees were not able to keep the shelves stocked with merchandise. This is not a very shopping good experience for the customers and impacted the level of satisfaction with the service.
