He came to a conclusion that eating is a very natural process but eating disorders lead women to several diseases where some women diet and becomes anorexic whereas some women gain a lot of weight and still feels they are healthy. The music and visual images in popular culture depict cultural messages are being sent to different race and gender groups, it came to light that cultural messages like being slim and trim, being healthy and having an hour glass figure is all what today images and music that we can hear of. The messages that are being conveyed about appropriate appearances are that one has to have a good figure and personality to be a part of social groups in the society. Wearing expensive clothes on an hour glass figure is always pleasant. These cultural messages affects very badly to the people's body image and their self-esteem. Because of this women starve like anything being anorexic and wish to have a perfect figure sidelining the kind of impact their body is going to see because of this eating disorder. However, it is necessary to understand that everybody has a different metabolism and the same product cannot be used for everyone. One has to be careful not to be influenced by such fallacies.

Mr. ML examined eating disorders in the context of gender, race, class, and ethnicity. Culture can also have an impact on how a person ages. However, this isn't quite as easy to pin down as ethnicity. Sometimes the two overlap; sometimes there are subgroups that are difficult to define. The cultural meanings that are broadcasted with regard to age is that as the aging of women , it is so depressing that she will do whatever will come to her mind and follows advices that people provide to diminish that signs of aging. Because being pleasant and looking good is a societal norm that every one wishes to follow, no matter what the age of an individual is. A woman at whatever age always try to look young and smart by using all those cosmetics and anti-aging creams and lotions to be a part of society and follow its unwritten norms of looking good.

The culture of thinness is significant in today's world and can be seen everywhere from television to posters and from banners to carton. It is visibly identified in the current generation of peers. It affects severely to the self-concept of people as they always want to look good and pleasant conforming to the societal norms of being and looking young always. Regarding to weight, people carry several misconceptions depending upon the different race and ethnicity. This is a biggest question to be pin point whether this culture of thinness is improving or destructing humans. Half of the magazines are full of dieting and weight loose articles to get that hot and sexy zero sized body. Television and movies manifests only the importance of slim body as a measure of woman's worth. However, it is necessary for all individuals to know that weight of the body relates to metabolism one has on his body and not the type of food they consume.
