Tattoos are mostly expressed as a part of their culture and age group. Youth consider them as a trend and fashion. People of middle age group give them less priority as a fashion tool. It is simply viewed as a symbol of culture among middle age group. Culture predominates getting tattooed. Men have a greater liberty and interest towards tattoos than women. Certain cultures did not allow women getting tattooed. Therefore culture plays a major role in the use of tattoos. Similarly certain culture has the custom of getting tattooed as a part of some historical moments. Therefore, culture, age and gender influence the behavior towards tattoos.

There are many fashion adornments that are seen as symbols of social classes. For example, Business suits and professional dresses are seen as a symbol of rich class and high income group people. Diamond and gold ornaments are perceived as a fashion symbol for rich class. Electronic devices such as mobile phones are viewed as fashion symbol rather than as electronic gadgets. The high cost and featured mobile is viewed as a symbol for rich people and medium range mobiles are viewed as devices for middle class. People perceive a positive impression on the basis of their attire and ornaments. People with less fashion adornments are generally considered as middle class. These judgements are drawn from the prevailing cultures in the society which differentiate people into different classes based on their income level.
