In hubbard brook experiment two different experiments were carried out. In one experiment one controlled site is prepared and other was experimental site. In controlled site when the trees are cut down over a small area the nutrient and water absorbing capacity of forest is measured. In the experimental area where the trees are cut down and chemicals which prevent the re-growth of the forest is used. The results very shocking that water absorbing capacity of trees decreases and also the nutrients decreases in that particular area. This experiment suggests that small activities carried out in forest can result in severe loss of nutrients and water from the land. This experiment gives the lesson that how much forest is important to retain the water and nutrients. Forest always required great care. It means that if humans are cutting the forest then they must do other steps to compensate it, otherwise this will result in other hazards.

The change in calcium concentration for the controlled site and experimental site is shown in the graph. The change bin concentration over the various years is shown which helps to understand the loss of nutrients from the deforested site. The graph showing the change in the concentration of the calcium is shown below: img The loss of calcium from the experimental site starts to begin in 1965 and the loss is at the peak about the year 1966 to 1967. In this year the loss is highest. From year 1971 it starts to fall off to the normal level.

Climate change always faces the controversy because of some unrealistic science. In this context some scientists propose some models and these models are based on some theories which are not practically verified. So, these models cannot be considered as reliable science. On the other hand those models which can suggest the change happened in the past and fit into the data completely. These models can be used to suggest the change in future. These can be treated as reliable science. The point whether a climate change report or model can be treated as reliable or unreliable science is basically depends on the accuracy and predictions of the models. If the models is well designed and tested in numerous of conditions so that it can predict the best results in future then model can be taken as reliable science. Every scientific theory prior to various tests and then hypothesis are proposed. Peer review is also important to check the acceptability of the theory.
