Nursing process refers to the order of steps and activities, which are designed for nurses to implement excellent nursing care. It includes assessing, planning, diagnosing, evaluating and implementing. A nursing process may be implemented on an individual patient or a community of individuals. A community-oriented nursing care is the process, which provides health promotion, protection as well as disease prevention education to the individuals of a population. It focuses on the health care of a particular community. This type of nursing practice also affects policy changes.
