Grammatical and spelling mistakes: Misspelling or a grammar error signifies that the candidate is lazy and do not care for the job. 2. Sloppy fonts and formatting: Error in formatting and use of too many different fonts makes the resume look too much clumsy. Thus, there is a need to avoid such mistakes, as it can hamper one's chances of getting the job. 3. Too short: The resume should be of at least 1 to 2 pages in length. Too short resume signifies that the candidate is skillless and not capable for the particular job position. 4. Too long: Like short resumes, long resumes also put a bad impression on the employer. One should try to maintain the resume to only two pages. Thus, try to avoid putting unnecessary things on the resume, and one should avoid being too much creative.
