Quiz 11 :
Using and Writing Visual Basic for Applications Code

Visual Basic Programming Language Visual Basic programming language is similar to other programming languages like java. Using VB programming we can write programs for Microsoft office applications. These programs make the Microsoft office programs to execute certain tasks. For example using Visual Basic Programming language we can write code for macros used by Microsoft Access. • Visual Basic for applications is called as event driven, as the instruction written using VBA are usually executed by the Microsoft applications in response to an event that occurs in the database. • Visual Basic is also an Object oriented language as the instructions written in VBA are executed against the objects in the database.

Compile Module A procedure in most of the programming language contains set of instructions to perform certain task. Using Visual Basic programming language users can write certain set of instructions to execute a task, and the name of these instructions can be attached to an event property value. So when the event occurs, the procedure or the set of instructions whose name is attached to the event are executed. Such types of procedure are called as event procedures.
