Encoding and decoding

Encoding involves using publically available method for transformation of the data into the format which is more usable and understandable. The converted format is the standard format which enables the encoded data to be reversed easily. Decoding on the other hand refers to conversion of the information which is encoded into its original state or format. The decoding of the data which is encoded can be easily performed by making use of the standard formats.
