Power refers to the ability to do something for people or to people. Power also refers to the ability to persuade people in such a manner that they work in accordance with the person who has the power. Power is mostly considered as negative connotation and of manipulative nature.

Politics refers to the medium of exchange. It is generally seen with a negative connotation as people often abuse the power that exists in politics. In other words it refers to the process pertaining to which power is ascertained and used. Politics is neither bad nor good; it simply represents the means by which an individual gets what he desire or want.
