Nominal Grouping: During this method the team will be voting to choose the best alternative among the various solutions available. The series of steps involved in the structured voting method are:

1. Listing: During this process each of the voter will offer his ideas in writing.

2. Recording: All the voters present their ideas and the information will be recorded till all the ideas are exhausted.

3. Clarification: During this process all the possible alternatives are verified with the voters and new one’s are added.

4. Ranking: All the voters offer the ideas a rank and the ideas are arranged vote wise.

5. Discussion: All the voters are asked the reason for the vote they gave and the reasons are noted.

6. Vote: All the voters are advised to offer a vote to the ideas.
