Management function

Management function is bifurcated into four broad functions viz. deciding upon the goals of the business and the methodology for achieving the same or planning, organizing or identifying the most useful deployment of the resources and people. Directing is the function which involves supervision, instructing and motivating workers to achieve the goals of the organization. Controlling involves matching the actual result with the standard set and identifying the deviation for taking necessary corrective measures.
