The different group identities of persons and their variety is referred to as diversity. The groups may be different depending upon sex, race, culture, religion, ethnicity etc. there may be diversity in a work place, in a city, population of a country etc. Diversity and work are closely connected because people tend to be judged on the basis of their caste, creed, ethnicity or nationality. Workplace diversity includes costumers as well as employees.
