If exercise is helpful in controlling blood glucose, how could it complicate the life of a type 1 diabetic?

Type I diabetes is also called insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM). It usually occurs in children and young adults. This results from the failure of the body to produce adequate insulin. As a result, glucose is not absorbed by the cells from the blood stream, and the plasma glucose levels remains high. Exogenous insulin should be administered to maintain normal glucose levels.
