Authentication protocol
The authentication is the technique to prove the genuineness of the user. It establishes and verifies the identity of the user. Authentication can be provided by something the users have, something the users know or something the user is. The authentication features are observed and a specific pattern is calculated. Now, these features are being processed and an authentication criterion is set up.
The authentication protocol allows the process to enforce the security through authentication of the user they are communicating with. Every time the user establishes connection, they have to prove their authenticity to the other user. The Kerberos is an authentication protocol based on the tickets system that allows the users to prove their identity to others. The Kerberos protocol protects the data from being hacked by encrypting the ticket. With the Kerberos ticket, both the user can authenticate each other. The process of authentication is described below.
