Multiple factors influence osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a condition characterized by a reduced bone mass accompanied by deteriorating the bone tissue. Thus the bones become fragile and the risk of fracture also increases, particularly of the spine, hip, shoulder and wrist. It is also known as “the silent thief” because the bone loss takes place without any symptoms.
