Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of hospital, general population, and special population controls in a case-control study.

Case-control studies, comprises of categorization of people as controls and cases; and then examining whether the cases are more or less likely than the controls, to attain the lifestyle behaviors, or exposures. The consequence of these studies, is always established before the commencement of the study, and then the study identifies and analyze the reasons, hence, these studies are conducted, retrospectively.
