Appearance of Amorphous urates:
• Amorphous urates have uroerythrin pigment.
• It gives pink brick dust in acidic pH urine.
• Small volumes of amorphous urates are seen in normal urine.
• Amorphous urates adhere to urine or mucous and make diagnosis complicated but it can be separated.
