Ultra filtration of glomerulus:

Glomerulus is a network of capillary lobes encapsulated in bowman’s capsule of nephron.

• It is foremost region of renal tubule where the filtration process of blood plasma starts.

• The capillary lobes of glomerulus has “filtration barrier”.

The factors involving filtration process are:

• Walls of capillaries

• Bowman’s capsule

• Hydrostatic pressure

• Oncotic pressure
