Oftentimes, landing a job is more about who you know than what you know. As a result, make sure you are taking every opportunity to network as a new grad. This could be at career fairs in your city, at galas or events, at conventions, or even online through social media platforms like LinkedIn.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Familiarize yourself with how to best <\/span>network as a graduate<\/span><\/a>, too. This includes networking with other recent grads, volunteering, getting to know your professors during or after your studies, finding a mentor, and potentially even becoming an intern. Not everyone is comfortable networking, but doing it is a great way to meet people and form connections\/relationships that could help you greatly during a job search and throughout your career.
